Question about 2005 Suzuki GSX-R 750
My bike been sitting over a year install new gas install new spark plug still nothing
Check all harness connectors inside the left hand upper fairing area near the turnsignal as wellm as under the front of the fuel tank. they are known to melt or corrode. These are issues that may have been caused from the sitting. I am assuming that it was running well when parked.

The slingshot does NOT have a fuel pump. It is gravity feed through a petcock. Make sure that the petcock is set to the ON position. Its under the tank on the side.
If your bike has K&N filters on the carbs make sure you cover them with a plastic back before you wash next time.plus you will have to wash them and re-oil them before you put them back on. Dont use super high pressure washer to wash your bike. A garden hose will do.
If it has the stock air filter you might have gotten water into the carboration system with that high pressure washer you used. You'll need to disassemble the airfilter unit and either remove your carbs to take off the float bowls and get the water out or try to drain your float bowls while the carbs are still on the bike. Siphon out all the old gas if you think you got water in it or you will have to do this all over again. Sounds like you intoduce water into the system to me.

Clean the air filter and, if you have one, remove the water trap bowl on the fuel petcock and clean it. How good is the battery? Install new STOCK plugs. Bear in mind it may be time for carb kits. Other than your cleaning the carbs, the carb kits and balancing and synchronizing of the carbs are best left for the shop to do.
Check the exhaust pipes. If there is a restriction in the burned gases exiting the tailpipe then the bike will not run right, will loose power and even die if too much back pressure builds up. Disconnect the exhaust system and tick off the neighbors with a quick ride around the block without a muffler. If the engine still dies then exhaust is not likely to be the problem.
Check the compression on all cylinders. Depending on the compression, the bike may be ready for a valve job. If you pull the head for the valve job then you might as well consider re-boring the cylinders and install new pistons and rings. Bear in mind, doing a valve job and / or pistons is not recommended for the novice. The good part is that when the work is finished you will effectively have a new engine.
