I think its your jet thats needs unblocking or replaceing, That in-side your carb and aint too hard to clean. Take off ur carb and unscrew the bottom end off it. This is where the float is be careful not loose the float or bend any pins which you will see .there should be a brass pipe that travells through the carb and a small pin hole gap through it , it may be blocked use a small pin to unblock it or red-ex in ur petrol can help

Hello,

This is a common problem depending on the area you live in.

Try this; quickly snap the throttle 3 -5 times and kick start it immediately. Do not open the throttle while trying to kick start your bike. You can open it about 1/4 of the way just before you kick start it, but let go of the throttle just as you kick start it - kick back sux and can hurt you.

You may have to run the bike a little richer (Carb adjustment).

Hope this helps. Please vote if this information was useful to you. Thanks!

Regards,

Oz

Your best bet is to go up one or two teeth on the front sprocket. This will increase the top end speed. Swapping gears is not likely to help and would be problematic.

2008 ninja 250 engine oil looks green color

Just replace the oil, its cheap enough to do and costs less than rebuilding the engine.
the white foam on the oil cap is normal its just fine water particals built up, change the oil and take the bike on a run.
so does the bike run fine with the jet kit and exhaust change ? you dont explain your self well.

What jets should i be using in a crf 250r

experiment with a few differant jet sizes cause there cheap and you'll figure your jetting out faster, so with the pilot i would grab a size 38, 40 and 42 and maybe a 44. the main jet id go with a 172- 175
