Could be control arm bushings Sway bar links Wheel bearing Ball joints Rack and pinion Lift car and shake the tire from side to side, then top to bottom. Any play or wobble means parts are worn and need to be replaced
Tires...rear suspension...rear alignment - in that order. I had a car with a really bad rear alignment that hop sideways every time you went over a bump in the road.
The first thing to check on a rattling noise is if going over minor bumps in the road if that is when it makes noise is a sway bar link, they make a rattling noise. If you raise that wheel up you might also want to try and wobble the wheel to be sure it is not a tie rod end or ball joint. Typically I run into the sway bar links or the sway bar bushings making the noise. However ive even seen it be a rock sitting on the strut plate.
Hello, that could be one of several things. It could be a worn out bushing, sway bar link, or your strut assembly itself. With the nose of the car raised off the ground, wiggle the front tires. If there is excessive wobble it is likely to be one of the suspension components.
jack the truck up so tire are off the ground then get and 3 or 4 foot pry bar or strong pipe and put under tire lift up on bar if the tire moves up and down replace balljoints of not check for bad bushings on your shocks sway bars sway bar end links upper and lower control arm if equip.
