Two reasons are that you have either slightly bent your front wheel /or front forks or both even the slightest damage to either of these can throw the handling and steering the best thing to do is visit your local bike dealer and have the aliignment checked /before you do that though raise the front wheel off the ground and check for play in wheel bearings hold the suspension with one hand so the steering doesnt turn then with other hand pull and push wheel from side to side if it rocks it will be the bearings

Took the back left cover piece off brother pc8500d and a piece feel out. What could this be

Always leave repairs of these delicate and complicated machines to the pros. " A Piece FELL out"? More than likely it's a broken part or part of broken part. Could be something that came unscrewed or ???
That's why the pros make the big bucks, we should leave the repairs to them.

883 1995 it fell now wont go into gear

Hi Anonymous, if your clutch is ok then sadly you probaby bent a shifting fork when the bike fell over its a common problem with sportsters. Take the bike to your local dealer or reputable shop so they can pull the transmission and do an estimate. The problem is significantly reduced if you install forward controls. Good luck

The stiff steering is a sign that you need to replace the ball bearing on the steering post.
The engine cuts off means you have to to get it tuned from a technician, carbs should be overhauled.

Hope that helps!

My triumph daytona bike feel over and it took me 10 mins to get help to pick it up and it would not start after what is the problem

hi its worth checking your battery is ok sometimes they leak when a bike goes over
they dont work without electrolite fluid sometimes you can top them up with distilled water
or get a bike shop to refill it if its completely empty or just fit a new one
sometimes engine oil finds its way into all the wrong places too so leaving the bike a while for it to all drain back again before starting is a good idea too
lastly check for damage on the sid it fell it may not be obvious but somtimes fairings hide components that may be broken directly underneath them

My bike pedal fell off and i was wonder how i could fix it. It's the pedal and the shaft piece.

If there is only a stub sticking out on the pedal arm then try to clamp a vise grip pliers on to get it off. If it has broken off flush you will have to drill a hole and use an easy out tool to get it loose. Good Luck

Ball bearings fell out of handlebar connection on 3-speed bike.

Take it to a professional bike shop. They have the knowledge and tools to set it right.

Or take a look at this:

The headset nuts were not necessary to be moved for handlebar adjustment. Now the bearing load is too tight. Correct adjustment of the headset requires a delicate balance between tightness and freedom of movement. If your bike has/had the original bearings it's a safe bet they may be due for replacement anyway.

My son bought a M reg audi quattro 2.6 two days ago. since then it has cut out numerous times causing the steering to lock and the imobiliser light to come on. In addition to this the alarm light stays on....

is it a factory alarm? if not then its proberly the alarm/imm, but by the sounds of it the steering to lock is not normal for saftey reasons so it could be as simple as the steering lock/barrel is loose or has been messed with, the steering may not lock but feel like it as when the engine stalls the power steering pump stops hence the steering will become very stiff felling like it is locked, behind the steering lock where the keys goes is the barrel part that operates the electric part of the ignition which could be loose , you will not see this till you remove all the trim under the steering colomn

My honda cbr 125 feels is hard to steer as slow speeds.

sounds like the bearing's in the triple clamp area are ether warn out or is over tighten a quick test " stand over the bike like you would be like your at a stop light, place both feet on the ground and grab the handle bars with both hands and lift like your trying to lift the front of the bike up to see if you feel any play "YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIFT THE BIKE YOU COULD REALLY HURT YOU BACK". if you do feel play you will want to take the bike in to have this replaced.
