I have gas/oil mixture leaking out the exhaust. What can I check?

What type of vehicle. Gas leaking could be an issue with a fuel pressure regulator. But the oil thru the exhaust seems like it could be issues with piston rings or rocker valves (like exhaust valve stuck open and oil running thru it) little more info on vehicle type and earlier issues

I have gas leaking from my exhaust manifold On my yamaha ttr 90

How is the bike running? If you have gas leaking from the exhaust manifold I would think you have other things going on for that gas not to be burned up in the cylinder.

Is the gas coming from another source? for instance if it is leaking onto the engine, is it running down and around the engine but you only see it coming off the exhaust manifold? Gas getting burned off the engine when it is running?

Gas smell coming from heater vents

if it makes a loud exhaust sound when cold its an exhaust leak. most likely the steel fuel line is leaking. check to make sure your air filter is clean.

Engine starts then backfires and sometimes leaks gas on exhaust

IS it leaking gas on the exhaust or thru the exhaust. I have seen the float in the carb stick in the down or fill position and flood thru the exhaust.

The fuel line tube is leaking gas. how do i fix that?

Hello,

exhaust the gas and make sure there is no more gas in the vehicle. Check the leaking line tube, and get the exact point that is leaking. But make sure you get the leaking point before draining or exhausting the gas.

If the fuel line tube is rubber, get an Abro Gum or go to any car part dealer store, you will get a gum that can seal up the leaking area or part.

But if it is a metal, you will have to take it to a welder or panel beater so that they can help weld or seal up the leaking line tube.

Good luck.

Gas tank keeps blowing a hole in exact same spot over exhaust

Hoping the exhaust system is original equipment and undamaged, After replacing the tank a3rd time, I would ABSOLUTELY assess the condition of all exhaust hangers, and re-align exhaust pipes AWAY from that gas tank. The vehicle will best be repaired on a lift, along with some heavy bars. Maybe the closeness of the exhaust was trying to bring your unleaded to a boil. Repair this ASAP
