Hi, the symptoms you describe, sound like mechanical, poss partial sezure, i presume the oil level is up to the mark as required, if the problem is mechancal i would suggest you do not ride this machine until the fault Has been rectified, seriouse dammage may occure to the engine and rider ask for a profesional oppinion, take it to a shop, for a fee you will know for sure what the fault is

Having trouble setting my suspension on my yz the sag is set cant get the rest to balence out for me im bout 150lbs does anyone noe a good setting for that weight?

In general you want to set sag for around 25-30% of the total suspension travel. Most dirt bikes are around 300mm of travel so set your sag (race sag) at around 85-90mm. Once you have done that, check the sag (static sag) without rider. It should be around 5% or so. If the static sag is more than 5% your spring is too hard. If it's less than 5% or zero then your spring is too light. This applies to both front and rear suspension.

These setting's don't have to be exact but it will definitely get you in the ballpark and help your bike to be balanced between front and rear. Also when you check race sag, you need to be in your natural riding position standing on the pegs wearing all your riding gear.

Help me choose the travel/bike I need . I'm looking at two bikes. One is a 4 inch travel XC oriented frame and the other is a 5 inch travel. I ride mostly in Ohio, but travel for Xterra triathlons and...

I'd go with FTM. More comfortable, it can still use for racing. Give them both test ride if possible. I have both Motolite and RX, I'd take ML any day.

That said most XC racing course is doable with HT or XC FS, so if racing is your primary goal then RX.

What should be the ideal price for a pulsar 180 , 3 years old in pune ?

It depends on the condition of bike. If it is in good condition the it would cost you around 25,000 to 33,000. Following condition should be checked. Get the engines examined by a mechanic. Check if the body of the bike is in good condition. Many people also apply a technique to roll the Actual Distance traveled by the bike to show that the just have traveled very less Km with that bike. Also check the proper papers of the bike. Ask for how long time the bike is insuranced. check for any accident record with the owner.

Hope this will help for sure...Cheers:)

My vehicle makes a load whistling sound whenever it is traveling above 60 Km per hour

That sounds like an air movement problem and not a mechanical problem. Check for something plastic or rubber hanging loose below the front end of the car. If a flap has the connecting push pin missing leaving the connecting hole open it can make this sound. Also check the firewall for missing rubber plugs. If you live in an area where there are lots of deer you might want to leave it alone as the high pitched whine keeps them away from the roadway.:)
