Go cheap. Get something worth what you pay for it. The Climer / Haynes manuals are junk. After I bought it, took off the rear end a few times, I saw in the Honda manual that you can do that with just 6 bolts- the entire rear luggage, fender, everything.
Buy the Honda manual. It's worth the $50 in time savings alone, and the other junk simply doesn't always tell you the right procedure.
The 2001 model had a problem with the left compartment. In your main trunk you will find on the left and right side a black button insert, pop it out and with your finger you can push the mechanism down, this will open the compartment. I had to tear into the locking mechanism and shortened a new rod to cure my problem, hope you don't have to go to this extent to cure your problem
Hi, To get at the front speakers, you will need to 1st remove the following items: fairing pockets, ignition switch cover, top inner covers, seat, top compartment, rear view mirror, and headlight adjusting knob. Then you will be able to remove the dash panel. The 4 screws that hold each speaker can then be accessed once the panel is off... I know it is a long list to go thorough to get to the speakers, but that's how Honda designed it. hope this helped
