Pull any error codes.

How?

1 - Turn the ignition switch to off & run/stop switch is to run .
2 - Push odometer reset button in & HOLD .
3 - Turn the ignition switch on and then release odometer reset button. The background lighting should illuminate & the speedometer needle should sweep it's full range & indicator lamps ( battery , security , low fuel , check engine and cruise ) should illuminate . The word "DIAG" should then appear .
4 - Push the odometer reset button once and you will see the selection menu "PSSPtb" with the first P flashing .
5 - Each letter represents a area of the diagnostics module. The module that is flashing is the one you are going to check . To move from one letter to the next you must push the odometer reset button one time . ( from P to S to SP to t to b and back to P , ect ect )
P = ECM
S = TSM/TSSM/HFSM
SP = speedometer
t = tachometer
b = ABS codes
6 - To get the DTC code in a area of diagnostics you should PUSH & HOLD the odometer reset button in for 5 seconds and the release . If there are any DTC's the code will be displayed or the word " none " will appear if there are no DTC's . Push the odometer reset button again to view any additional codes if they exist .
7 - Record the codes .
8 - If DTC's are NOT to be cleared , press and release the odometer reset button . Part #of module will be displayed .
9 - If DTC's are to be cleared for that module , PRESS & HOLD the odometer reset button until " clear " is displayed .
10 - Press and release the odometer reset button to continue to the next module .
11 - Turn the ignition switch off to exit the diagnostic mode.

Once you have any codes, look them up, or post here (I have a manual that translates the codes), to find out what they mean.

06 harley flhtcui, check engine light comes on when i hit 65mph, once I let off the throttle and get under 65mph it turns off. Any ideas?

The best way to check is to pull any error codes (DTCs) and see what the computer says is going on.

Turn the Ignition switch to the OFF position.
Set the Run/Stop switch to the Run position.
Push in the odometer reset button and hold.
Turn on the ignition switch and release the odometer reset button. The process has been completed correctly when the speedometer needle sweeps across the speedometer and all indicator lamps illuminate. The speedometer will also display "DIAG."
Press the odometer reset button once. "PSSPt" will display on the speedometer. Each letter signifies an area of the diagnostics testing, with the current selection flashing. Push the odometer reset button to scroll through the components for testing.
Press and hold the odometer reset button for 5 seconds, then release. Any codes stored will be displayed on the speedometer. If no codes are stored, the speedometer will display "NONE."
Press the odometer reset button again to view additional codes, if any.
Record the codes and refer to your service manual for possible faults or conditions.
Turn off the Ignition switch to exit the diagnostics testing.

Once you pull the codes, post them here and myself, or someone else, can look them up and tell you what they mean.

Engine revving

sounds like the stop pin has been moved check on the throttle there is a little stop screw see if it is coated in muck and the part that the throttle arm hits the pin. someone may have moved its setting before hand. and now the problem has been fixed with a new timing belt the timing is right and engine is running smooth. if engine is pinking the timing belt is still not set properly and this is the reason for high revving. timing is to advanced. and needs reseting.

The belt slides to one side (the same side) always when we start to walk. It is a new belt and deck. Afraid it will wear out the belt as it starts to rub against the edges. Thanks

you need to tighten the w/belt. the side that the belt goes to tighten 3 quarter turns. now on the other side loosen 2 quarter turns. turn on the the belt on 3or 4 setting the belt should start moving over when it get to where you want it tighten the sid e you first loosen 2 quarter turn. then run it at higher speed to see if it stays its trial and error remember rightie tightie leftty loosie. in the end you want equal tension with the rollers bolts ps good tension is 2 -3 inches up when lifting up the sides of the w/belt

Engine light comes on when i open up throttle

I would start by retrieving the diagnostic trouble codes. To do this, with the run switch on the right grip set to run, hold the odometer reset button in and turn on the ignition to run then release the odometer reset button. Background lighting should illuminate, the speedometer needle should sweep its full range of motion and the indicator lamps should illuminate. After that the readout on the odometer should indicate any trouble codes. If there are any trouble codes I have a list of them to direct you to the problem. If you want to clear the codes, press the speedometer reset switch for more than 5 seconds when the DTC is displayed.

2003 chrysler town & country speedometer stuck

sit in the drivers seat close the door. with the key off hold the trip odometer button in then while holding the button in turn the key on. if done correctly this will put the MIC (mechanical instrument cluster) into a self test. if the speedometer does not move like the rest of the gauges during this test the MIC must be replaced. if the speedometer does move it is likely your problem will be fixed, however, if the speedometer does move but it does not start working properly then further diagnostic will be needed.
