Question about 2008 kawasaki ZX-10R
I have recently purchased a Kawasaki ZX10R motorbike and there was no spare key with it only the red key came with bike. I have had a new key cut for this with the chip inside and i need to know how to programe this please, can you help?
if the water pump was working before draining all the fluids i would possibly rule out the pump failing. i do think it is very possible, while very common that there may need to be more coolant added. coolant needs to be added through the radiator cap, and a good practice is to run the cycle while the cap is off and add coolant accordingly. do this for a few minutes. cause likely what has happened is there was an air pocket when adding the coolant, and this can make is seem like enough was put in. but after the pump working it can cycle the water through and help expose those pockets.
hope this was helpful. thank you.

Go to this site and you can download a free PDF service manual.
www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp Most all of the manuals are in English but some are not. There is no way to be sure without doing the download. You can always delete it if in a foreign language. The 10R manual they have is for a 2004. The manual should be 99.5% the same as the 2005. And best of all, it is totally free!
A “very helpful” rating on this answer? Thanks!

1. Tell your dealer your Chassis No. for key replacement in their file
2. Try your local locksmith to make a duplicate
3. Replace the whole ignition key cylinder.

The frame mounting points are completely different. A zx 636 frame wraps around the motor where as a zx10r frame goes directly over the motor. That's how they keep the zx10r nimble enough to feel like a 600cc sport bike. But in this day and age if you have enough time and money you can accomplish anything. Honestly it's just easier to sell your 6 and buy a 1 liter.
