Question about 1985 Suzuki GSX-R 750 F
GSXR 750F recently purchased riding home today started to run rough , came to a stop oil light came on then bike stalled. Would not start for about 2 minutes got it to start and got home. Checked the oil level all o.k hope i dont nned to do engine rebuild due to lack of oil pressure.
Hi m8,,took a look at this pretty pic u have and thought i add one of these,,see wot the prob is,,hope im not gonna be the bringer of bad news mr, seems to me the oil pump in the sump has seized,,while riding it if it felt tight wen it stopped, then that aint good,, but u can change these with out takin the moter out, drain the oil,, sump off and clutch out, to get to the nuts on the oil pump..just means either u lie on the floor and do it, or be lucky and have a ramp,,although u will have to get some 1 to look at the shells on the crank,, or bearings and hope they havent been damaged,,there wont be damage tho if the oil u have drained out doesnt have iron filings in it, ,cheers m8,,
