Hi m8,,took a look at this pretty pic u have and thought i add one of these,,see wot the prob is,,hope im not gonna be the bringer of bad news mr, seems to me the oil pump in the sump has seized,,while riding it if it felt tight wen it stopped, then that aint good,, but u can change these with out takin the moter out, drain the oil,, sump off and clutch out, to get to the nuts on the oil pump..just means either u lie on the floor and do it, or be lucky and have a ramp,,although u will have to get some 1 to look at the shells on the crank,, or bearings and hope they havent been damaged,,there wont be damage tho if the oil u have drained out doesnt have iron filings in it, ,cheers m8,,

4700 not a lot of miles. This motorcycle needs to run. It will be rough until you can get the carb cleaned. I would keep doing what you have been doing for a while. After a couple hundred miles if it doesn't improve, you might want to consider having the Harley shop give it a good tune up. Check the plugs ...

Got home from a ride last week on my bike and noticed the engine management system malfunction indicator light was on. the bike stalled and didnt want to start straight away. it has been running a bit...

It may be time for new spark plugs and some carb or injector cleaner...............I would also check plug wires and oil level due to leveling sensors built into the engine safety system.......Hope this helps.

Hi I have a GSXR 750 K7, I did an oil and filter change plus needed a new battery. since starting the bike all running smoothly i noticed the revs running at 2000rpm plus f1 light. went for a short ride...

You might have a leak in your tube mount between the carb and head. Let the bike idle and spray some starting fluid on the front of the carb. If the idle shoots up, you have a leak. Either cracked/weatherd or not tight enough

I have a 91 fzr 600 recently did oil change, spark plugs, didnt ride bike for 2 days then went to ride it today and wont start, thought it was the battery so i jumped it and it started but started running...

you will need to try a new battery, unfortunatly sometimes jumping of a larger battery can spike the regulator, so when the new battery is fitted put a mulimeter across the battery, should read just over 12v engine stopped and rise to 13.5-14v with the engine running.

01 gsxr that fl code came on and oil light is on.

It is not safe to drive with the oil light on, you risk major engine damage. It means low oil pressure. The FI light means a fault with the fuel injection system. You will need diagnostic equipment connected to the bike to read the fault code(s). Most likely this will be at a shop.

Loss of power, stalling, backfiring

Sounds like you are not getting fire to that cylinder, check plug wire, plug, and the cap on the end of the plug wire.

If all is well with those, just let me know and we can go to the next possible cause.
