Question about 2011 Yamaha FZ16
Whenever the speed is increased above 25-30 , gradually the whistling sound also increases . Decreases with Speed. I have done the following to resolve the issue : 1. Changed Disk pads No use, problem persisted. 2. greased and oiled everything. 3. One mechanic suggested that it might be due to carbon accumulation. He cleaned for it but still the problem is present. What else could be done ?

Sounds like the tank isn't venting properly. Next time you hear the hiss, try opening the gas cap. If that makes it stop, it should also drop the idle speed. If so, you need to pull the tank and make sure the tank vent hose isn't pinched.

I have the same bike and same problem. Check the intake hose that connects the carb to the motor it may have a crack mine did and lost power when the bike warmed up. They don't make a replacement hose for it so I am using a rubber plumbers coupling with hose clamps. Might work? The hose is inch and a half diameter and about three inches long try that maybe. Good luck If it makes a chirping sound when the bike gets warm it's probably that hose sucking in air and screwingup your mixture.

Hi there and welcome to fixya,
if the plate of the disc brake is really bent, you would feel a pulsating brake when you pull the lever during braking. If its bent, you'll need to replace it or have the service center replace it. It will cost you. They wont give it for free. and to answer your question, yes the disc brake comes in replaceable parts.. .or aftermarket parts.
Hope this helps
