SOURCE: knocking noise of chain in honda dream yuga bike

That knocking noise could be that the teeth on your main drive are worn out and chain is jumping them on acceleration.Pull th primary cover and check the drive gear for chain on motor sprocket.Replace it if worn to that point.

SOURCE: knocking noise of chain in honda dream yuga bike

Hi,it dose sound like the front sproket has got worn teeth, but by tacking the wheel back to take up the slack when the sproket is worn wont work,if eneything it could make it worse as the chain will now get stuck on the teeth even more, becouse as the teeth wear on the sproket thay also start to bend the teeth, well I hope this was some help.
just a little tip before I go,when you think that the chain has done harf of its life take bougth of the srokets off front and back and turn them around, this will give you longer life of the chain and sprokets.
ok all the best.

I need to know the chock on/off position of dream yuga. I had to use the chock a few times. And now I am confused on whether it is on/off. There is no indication of on/off position in bike.

I don't know about your type of choke, but try the following.
  • If it is a push/pull button, then normal running position is usually with the button pushed in (choke off)
  • If on your handlebar the normal running position is with the lever pushed forwards (choke off) away from you and is more out of the way whilst riding
  • If a lever that flips back and forth or turns, then that is more difficult to tell. Generally you might feel less resistance when moving it one way or the other, and the easiest way it moves is usually as it is being moved to the off position (choke off).

Try a higher octane gas. That usually solves the problem.
