HI, NORMALY YOU WOULD USE THE PROVIDED VALVE ASEMBLY WHICH CONECTS TO THE SUSPENSION UNIT, IF YOURS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR SOME REASON THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO RECONECT THEM, HOWEVER IT IS POSSIBLE YOUR REAR SHOCK HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A GAS FILLED SHOCK WHICH REQUIRES NO SERVICE, AND HAS NO MEANS OF MANUALY PRESSURISING, {SPECIALIST JOB} HOPE THIS HELPS YOU, THANKS PAUL

SOURCE: front fork air shocks leak

You need to to replace your fork seals. if your not a fairly handy shadetree mechanic dont attempt it yourself because you have to remove the front wheel and forks to do the job.

I upload the required amount of air in the suspension on my goldwing that is right for me, and its ok for a good while but all of a sudden the bike is riding low and all air is gone.. what do you thin

Check to to see if you have an air leak in the air lines from compressor to the shocks with a soapy solution in a spray bottle. If you do not fine a leak the shocks them selves may be leaking. One other thing to check is the air line that goes into the right saddle bag and check the valve core.

Problem in the rear suspension of GL1500

Do the shocks hold air? If they do, I see no problem. The shock go contain a bit of oil.

My 93 goldwing has no air shock valve for adjusting air pressure.would my bike have oil dampened front shocks a nd how do i service them if they are oil dampened.a freind told me they could be oil...

Actually all shocks are oil dampened - the air pressure just increases the dampening effect of the oil. In all Goldwings the front shocks air pressure is adjustable and supposed to be 6 psi.
If you no longer have the air ports on the shocks then something is very wrong with this bike - the front fork has been modified, the shocks have been replaced with non genuine parts. Have the bike inspected by a Honda certified repair shop immediately.

Replase seal rear shocks 1982 goldwing still leaks fluid what did i do wrong

Seals can become fish-mouthed (if the seal twisted one one side)you would probably have to do them new again. If the shock was scarified or rusty seals get ruined quickly. How much air pressure is applied can also blow them out if its to much.

Coolant change 1982 Goldwing

To drain the water, you have to remove the drain plug from the water pump. It is located under the lower radiator hose on the left hand side (facing foward on the scoot). Of course, you have to remove the radiator cap so air can bleed it out. (of course, the honda guys would want you to remove the reserve tank & clean it, etc.) after you fill it, just let it idle for a while to check for leaks & to remove air, so you can recheck your fluid level. hope this helps, Rick
