Question about 2009 Harley Davidson FLHTCU Ultra Classic Electra Glide
Need to install a new kick stand and the spring is too tight to do it by hand is there a tool to help spread the spring to get it on. I know that it is the right spring.
Attatch the spring first before the pivot bolt...you can then use the stand as a leverage handle to line the holes up for the bolt against the spring tension.

well the easy way is to jack up bike remove the nut jiffy stand slide it out hook spring slide it back in and tight nut hope this helps
