What makes the condenser fan shut off but the compressor keeps running but not every time

Condenser fans cycle on and off to control the temperature/pressure of the refrigerant in the condenser. This is normal operation.

As to cooler weather start up and tripping the breaker; how cold is it when you are running it? If it is too cold you could be pumping liquid refrigerant back to the compressor, slugging it and causing it to trip a breaker. However, many things can cause an air conditioner to over-amp and trip a breaker but this tends to be more problematic as the weather is hotter.

Overheating gage when stop & go -2004 chevy tahoe

natural for engine temp to rise in Traffic - Until Themostat opens ) cooling fan sensor kicks on fan . But Antifreeze is not just a Cold weather item . Coolant is Absolutely Necessary for Hot Days . You must be full to recovery bottle setting of cold when checked prior to start up . Coolant for your make / model is Reddish - Pink colour and should have a reading of -25 thats negative 25 degrees the Lower the Better even - 50 .. Why ?? - 50 is 50 %% antifreeze / Coolant Concentrate MIX Gives Hot weather cooling Ability or very cold weather starting / winter HEAT .

Fan and Light will not work in cold weather (under 45 degrees or so)

Cold weather may be making the lubricant too thick and impeding the motor from turning. On a cold day see how easy it is to spin the fan.

It could also be the switch is worn to the point that the cold weather causes the metal to contract then it does not have enough strength to snap into the closed position. Cold weather can also cause failures in electronic circuits or even a wire connection that is not quite tight enough.

Want to know why one fan turns on all the time but the other two don't. Is this normal. The heating is working fine besides this. Tax

That's a condenser fan motors they work when you a/c system is running. On hot weather temperature they should work all the motors to keep the system cool.On the winter time they never works cause the weather outside is too cold.

How you know if you need a cooling fan relay

If your cooling fan is running all the time or if the cooling fan does not turn on when engine temperature is at normal or higher than normal temperature. It is possible in cold weather the fan may not turn on often.

1987 Magna VF 700 Bike stalls when its cold outside

just a common thing in cold weather, sometimes you have to ride about 5 miles with choke half out, till the engine warms up. try draining your carbys or cleaning them out, sounds like ti could be running abit lean and not getting enough fuel

Is it normal for fan on outside unit to be on while on heat mode

Yes, it is normal with a heatpump, you run the outside unit in cooling and heating.
It is also normal when the outside unit goes into defrost for the outdoor fan to shut off during the defrost mode and to see steam coming out of the outside unit, while it's melting the frost or ice, then the fan will come back on.

Zanussi integrated fridge freezer, top half fridge not working

It appears you need to get the cold distributed from the freezer section to the frig section. This can only be accomplished by a fan that forces the cold air throught openings between both sections. Since the freezer in at the bottom, cold air cannot go upward, thereforethe fan. Chech that the interior fan (in the freezer section) is running. Check that the air openings between the sections are not blocked. Finally, if all looks good, then maybe the compressor system is slowly failing and only making enough cold for the freezer, but not enough to be circulated. Goodluck, Macgivor
