Try this site: www.cyclepartsnation.com then look up oem parts for your E1. look under cowling and cowling lowers. it will give you a list of all parts and screws associated with the fairings for this bike. it will tell you the length, diameter, thread and type of head for each screw and tell you where it goes via diagram. hope that helps you out brother. ride safe!

next time label and organize your screws with numbers using masking tape and a shapie. place one piece of tape on the screw hole and another on the screw with the same number marked on each one. do this for all the screws. its tedious, but it takes less time than guessing which screw goes where. and besides, i think it is vital to have a professional way to go about doing things when you are working on a high performance machine

I dont know who made this bike or when? MOD502469001 can you please help me desipherthat serial # ?

If there is no brand on the head tube (where the fork goes through the frame) and no model on the frame (due to probably a rattle-can paint job) then it is very unlikely that one could ID the bike by serial number. It's not like the VIN on a car which is standardized.
It's not important in any case, as bike parts are fairly universal, and if selling it you will only be able to ask a price appropriate for a generic bike. For more info: How to determine the year value etc of your bicycle

New to motorcycle repair looking for step by step instructions for starter replacement for a 2005 harley softail standard

Well, I don't know if this is step by step but this is how you get the starter out. First, disconnect the battery negative post. Then find the drain plug at the back of the primary cover and drain the oil out of the primary. Then, remove the outer primary cover. Remove the small bolt that holds the starter jackshaft on and remove the jackshaft. There is a coupling behind the jackshaft. Mark this coupling so you know which end goes in first when you reassemble the starter. Now, go to the right side of the bike and remove the exhaust system if it's in your way. I don't know if you have the stock system or an aftermarket system has been installed on the bike. Take the bolts out at the top of the oil tank and the nuts off the rubber mounts on the oil tank. You may have to lift the tank slightly to get to the starter. There are two large socket head bolts that hold the starter on, remove these and the battery cable from the starter and it should come out.

I purchased the Dynacraft hot wheels 14 inche bike at Toys R Us. It is impossibe to tighten the revving handle bar. Should I return it. cgrigoli@aol.com

Yes. Exchange it for either a built bike or another one and try again.

It should be a fairly simple clamp that goes around the bars with a bolt and nut to secure it and tighten it down, if these don't work then the bike is useless and unrideable

I have a 2001 ninja 250 that needs new fairings can I put new model fairings on it or do I have to find custom one and if so can you please help me find a web site that can help me

you sure can but they WILL NOT bolt right up. You will have to modify brakets to fit from the new style fairings to mount to the bike. you will also have to cut and modify the tail/subframe as the older style is much larger. can be done with some experience. I put an 05' r6 tail on a 93 900rr. looked perfect

Your carb is situated under your petrol tank, It is possible to take it off buy taking your tank off (just make sure you turn the petrol tap off first) then unbolting the air intake plastic thing (big black thing under your tank) sorry dont know what its called, then you will have your carb, just make sure you take pics of where the tubes and wires go before taking it off. Hope this helps

I lost my instrction manual!

Step 1: Detach the front panel from the 2 front post using an allen wrench
Step 2: If the mattress support is not in the lowest position unscrew the bolts and move it to the lowest position
Step 3: Using the allen wrench, attach the guard rail using 4 bolts between the lest and right front post (the guard rail would be that extra piece that you couldn't do anything with while the bed was converted to a crib. Looks kinda like a wooden board)
Step 4: Tighten all screws and put the crib mattress back in

Transit brackets

Hiya .. the transit bolts are located under the lid at either side ..or at the rear... they are fairly long bolts which hold the drum and balance in place.. until installation. they will be sheathed in fairly hefty rubber grommets.

Screws for removal of lid located at the rear..2- or 4.. remove these slide lid front to back.. remove bolts if they are they are present... refit lid... note uneven siting of an appliance can cause excessive vibration as well!

Let me know if this sorts your prob
