If the bike has been sitting for a while or the float bowls were left dry for a period - the actual floats may have attached ( by electrlytic process ) to the bottom of the bowl --so it is stuck in the open position - if the floats are plastic this will not apply--
if you have room - you can unscrew the float bowl ( the bottom part of the carbueretor ) and inspect - otherwise you have to remove the carb from the bike

Turn the motor over clockwise until the punch mark on the gear lines up with the arrow mark on the side case. Check to be sure that the cam lobes are facing to the rear of the bike, if they are pointing toward the front keep going until they face back and the punch mark aligns up with the mark on the case.ab798e0.jpg

Check the cam gear to make sure the two marks on the gear are level with the surface of the head.

My honda crf 100f motorcycle wont rev up and the carb jets etc are clean , its got new fuel also , any idears please ?

It's got to be in the throttle cable, sometimes depending on the carb, the top assembly cap isn't seated properly and the return spring won't let the slider actuate up and down.
also the floats in the bowl assembly may not be seated properly?

My 2004 crf 450 will not run when you take choke off

Hello, Im Bobby.

I would start off buy checking the fuel flow to the carb to do this simply remove the line going from the fuel tank to the carb. There should be good fuel flow at the carb with the line removed. It there is lack of fuel there then the fuel filter is pluged or something is in your tank causing the restriction. If you have good fuel flow at the carb then Im going to say there is a blockage in your carb and the carb would need removed , tore apart and cleaned and reinstalled.

Colman Powermate Generator will not stay running

This overflow can be caused by:

1. The float sticking

2. Gas inside of the float air chambers

3. The needle and seat have debris in them or a r damaged.

It is not a difficult fix but it does mandate removal of the carburetor float bowl.

You could probably do this yourself. It is much easier if you place the generator on a high work area so you can see the float and needle once you have the float bowl removed. Just make sure you do not drop the float assy so far that the needle comes out of the seat unless you have to remove the hinge pin SCREW for the float to clear the debris near the needles' pointed rubber head.

Thanks for using FixYa

The carburator seems to be overflowing.
You will have to adjust the float pin and probabely there may be some dirt and thus it doesn't seal off the flow of the gas once the float chamber is full.
