You can reset by disconnecting the battery for about half an hour, but the gaskets on the fuel system have been dry for a couple of months, and in turn have shrunk, this would cause the pressure to drop, and you may need to re-tighten all the screws on the feul pump, rail etc. Hope that helps!

Mark or measure the cable before disconnecting. I don't know your skill level so your going to have to make that call for yourself. All in all I'd say this is one of the more easier repairs.

If you have an air compressor and air gun tip simply

insert the tip into the grip and apply air but

you need to remove the vibration dampeners first

Turn key on turn kill switch to on position i hear fuel pump pull clutch in then hit starter button only a whirring sound not clicking and wont start has a new battery Suzuki boulevard c109rt

Hi, Kurt the starter drive/Bendix is a mechanical gear driven component that engages the clutch pack ring gear to turn over the engine. It has an internal mechanism that allows the gear to turn in one direction and once the engine starts allows the drive gear to free spin. If gear free spins in both directions then the drive gear has failed it is not serviceable and needs to be replaced. My M109R stall when I put it into gear, The stand switch is plugged in and seems to be working correctly. I just installed new air filters and a fuel processor. Runs fine in idle.

You should check the kick stand switch with a meter or unplug it and install a jumper wire to be sure. Is your clutch adjusted properly? Is the bike trying to move when it is placed in gear?

It sounds like it may not be getting enough fuel to the carb(s). Check to make sure that fuel is flowing from the tank. If not, it may be a problem with the petcock or the vents on the gas cap may be clogged.

Hi,
has the bike sat for any length of time? If so, the carbs need cleaned. Regardless of what you put in the tank, they'll need to be removed and cleaned. Since the bike is 14 years old, I'd guess they're due.

Also, check the petcock and tank for rust.
