SOURCE: Yamaha Bravo snowmobile keeps blowing exhaust springs

sounds like the stock exhaust is the fault.  Possibly the shape is out of line and putting extra stress in the springs.  Any chance you can get another stock or even a after market exhaust to try for a while to see if it still blows the springs(I assume you mean the springs are breaking) in the past time frame?

Tail light doesn't work, but rear brake light is working

try a new bulb they have two separate filaments in them and one can burn out and leave the other working fine.
take the old bulb out and get one with the exact same numbers which will be 12v 21\5 or similar
the higher number 21 is the brake wattage and the lower 5 is the tail light wattage
