SOURCE: Engine does not start
JUST A SHOT IN THE DARK ON THIS.
TRY DISCONECTING THE POSITIVE POWER CABLE ON YOUR BATTERY,AND WAIT TEN OR TWENTY MIN.THEN PUT THE POSITTIVE BACK ON IT.
SEE IF THAT WILL RESET IT.

hi will, it sounds like one or both of the fuel sending units has failed. the sender on the passenger side is responsible for reading empty to 1/2 tank, and the one on the driver's reads 1/2 to full. if the passenger sender is stuck down or failed, it could read empty when the tank is full. the senders are a pain to install correctly due to the installation angle. I have even seen techs at the dealer install them and have to reinstall them. i would recommend having both of the senders tested.

float is set to far open, meaning even though the bowl fills up, the fuel is not shutting off. take the carb of and slightly bend the tab on the float so when the bowl gets full it shuts the fuel off. Whats happening now is the fuel is not shutting off when the bowls fuel and it is running out of the overflow. simple fix. good luck.
