SOURCE: oil change cold or warm engine

Cold oil will take longer to drain versus hot oil. This subject can go around in circles till time ends. The most important concern is really regular oil/filter changes. A good quality filter will remove the harmful particulates that can damage your engine. If you choose to change your oil when it's hot I highly recommend that you wear insulated gloves.

SOURCE: Where do you check the oil on the 2004 honda xr

Sitting on the bike, it should have a black screw out filler plug on the right hand top part of the engine. It should have a dip stick on the inside to check level.

The oil is the same as car engine oil. The engine oill cans will indicate if it is for new engines or older, worn engines.

SOURCE: Where do you check the oil on 2001 honda xr 650

To get an accurate reading on your oil level , you have to start the motorcycle engine and run it for a at least 5 minutes longer if it is cold outside . A short drive works good. Then unscrew the dipstick on the frame above the tank , wipe it off , make sure the bike is level (upright) and put the dipstick back in till it seats(but do not screw it in). Now take it out and read the level. Top up as necessary but do not over fill. Use only JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cooler climates. 20w-50 for warmer conditions. Any oil that says Energy conserving on the label will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oil help your bike run cooler and shift easier. 0w40 Amzoil runs great in my 1996 XR 400 Honda.

Honda eu3000is shuts off suddenly?

There are two likely causes.
Honda generators have an oil level sensor which kills the ignition when the oil level drops too low. Check the oil, and if it shows there is enough, temporarily disconnect the wire going to the level sensor switch--usually a black wire with a white stripe--and see if the problem goes away. Oil level switches can fail intermittently, causing engines to die after they run for a while.

Exhaust valves with an insufficient gap can also cause your problem. A cold engine will start and run but as soon as it warms up, it will die. When the engine cools down, the engine will start easily, warm up and die again. Check the valve gaps when cold and adjust to meet the specification, usually 0.003".

When starting the bike from cold starts second kick but when warm its very hard to start

Check the spark when the engine is warm or if this was running for sometime. A hot coil means a poor insulation or shorted coil that can give a low HT and so the spark will be low. So remove the plug and test on the outside , is so change the plug/coil.
Finally check if there is fault in the fuel system, the carburater as a hot engine can also reduce carburation if there is block, mixture settings or gasket failure.

92 Honda Accord, 5 speed, hard shifting into first & second gear.

First thing to do,try to pump your clutch before you shift into 1st gear then if you feel makes better, most probably you have problem with your hydraulic clutch system, check the clutch line if there is an evidence of fluid leaking or it could be internal leak.

Second thing to do, check your transmission oil, may be it' s too old or you use a thick oil thats why when cold its hard to shift then when the engine rich the normal temperature(warm) the oil become thin and the shifting will smooth. Remember the very old oil become thicken and the purity is gone and can cause of hard shifting. in this regards i suggest you to change the transmission oil and check the used oil if there is small peace of metals, then you are in big trouble,
