These units are so fragile that you are undertaking very skilled surgery. it maybe that somehting became unplugged or pressured on the putting back together. Now that you have done it once, I would suggest taking it apart again and just putting it back together, it maybe that it will work the second time! there is no reset button that I know of. let me know if this helps.

Can a screen be replaced on a hannspree 10.1 tablet?

I replaced a broken display screen on an iPhone4. I ordered the
screen/digitalizer from Amazon for 16 bucks and it came with a number of tiny tools for the equally tiny screws and fittings.. It took me three hours of tedious labor to get it apart, to connect the screen/digitalizer (some wires with multi-connectors on the ends that are attached to the display) and put it back together. I used 15, numbered cupcake pan, paper liners to keep all the tiny parts in their proper places. I downloaded 25 pages of instructions from the Internet and printed it out as a repair manual. Bottom line, it worked and still works like new.

If you can find a screen/digitalizer for you device by Googling it and if you are handy with small items repair give it a go. But, be sure NOT to order just a front GLASS as you need the combination of display and digitalizer. The front glass thing by itself is a rip-off.

I think the biggest problem you might face is the repair *manual*. Unless some kind soul has spent considerable time compiling one that you can download, I don't think you will have any success disassembling the unit and getting it back together without breaking something else in the process

Black screen on Kodak M753

You have a bad CCD imaging sensor. Not worth repairing. Very common problem with most point and shoot cameras. Suggest you buy a new camera.

LCD screen broken, have parts, want to know how to change them

THIS is what everybody else leaves out!!! first open ur phone and there are four sticker pads in the corner, use something with a sharp point to remove. Then use a phillips screw driver to remove the screws. the top with now come off, next there is a ribbon cable from the touch screen to the screen itself, On the connector there is a small plastic lever u will need to flip up in order to release the cable. Use a solder iron to remove the wires and it helps to write down on a paper where they go! do NOT LEAVE THE IRON ON THE WIRES TOO LONG!!!!! just enough to melt the solder and remove the wire, same for putting the new ones on! Next carefully remove the screen, it is held in place by sticky tape, be careful not to crack the cover, just be patience and do it slow! and put the new screen in in reverse order!!!! hope this helps!

LCD screen wont work

I had this problem w/ my canon. It is a cracked LCD screen. I took the camera apart and replaced the LCD screen. I ordered the new one for $50 including shipping. you may have to do some detective work to find the part you need. I used a screwdriver for eyeglasses.
