Not sure about a Suzuki, but on H-D security you can disconnect the battery for 10 seconds and reset it. I.E. if the tip switch is activated...

2005 Honda VTX 1800 FI light comes on

Hi, Mijo1455 it should be noted that the reasons your FI light stays on constantly or flashes and your bike will or will not start and may turn over or not, these conditions will vary from bike to bike depending on the year, make, and model and you should always refer to your owners/service manual for proper diagnostic procedures. It should also be noted that any type of prior work done to the bike or an abnormal event occurrence IE: adding accessories, electrical curiosity/adventures, laying the bike down/crashes, rain storms/bike washings just before FI light issues started can be significant hints/aids into tracking down the gremlin. The newer the bike the more sensitive the ECM becomes and will not let the bike start when aftermarket accessories have been installed without being reprogrammed. That being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty Fuel Pump, fuse or system relay switch.
2. Battery starting to fail due to old age/damage, perform a load test.
3. A discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Faulty safety switches/sensors: run/off, ignition, clutch lever, neutral, side stand, tip over, fuel, and or their connections.
5. Broken wire or worn insulation exposing wire to a ground situation especially inside wire harness at tight bends around fairing brackets, under dash panels, under fuel tanks over cylinder heads etc. Many harnesses are open on the ends that will allow water to enter and accumulate at v-bends.
Dielectric grease and contact cleaner are your best friends for wire/cable/harness connectors, look for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.
6. Installation of aftermarket accessories ie. exhaust systems, mufflers, air cleaners, fuel tuners, electrical component etc.

Bike back fires and the f1 light comes on on the cluster panel as well as bike dies

The F1 light is the FI fuel injection light. Your bike needs to be diagnosed and scanned by your dealer or trusted mechanic. There is a problem with your fuel system and a code has been registered, your bike won't start or run correctly until your mechanic has scanned, fixed and cleared the code.

99 cbr 1100xx short in head light system causing fi light 2 come on with high beam on fi light comes on also front brake causes light 2 come on .also when running 3/4 hot bike pops n shuts down.i think the...

the problem is within the wiring system. there is a loom that gathers all wires which is used at time of manufacture to test that the bike has been wired properly. once tested the loom is capped and has no other usage. this loom is not depicted in the wiring diagram and over time it degrades and shorts out causing the FI light to come on. the fix is to cut it out. I went through this on my 99 Blackbird. I found this fix on the blackbird site posted by a fellow from Britain.

Bike shuts off after stopping. no engine check light comes on nor does the FI light come on. 2002 GSXR 1300 4034 original miles

A very young bike to be having problems (Low Miles) did this start after refill at the gas station? If the bike is hesitant and dies when stopping it could be bad fuel, if not is the day temp cold? if so it could have a faulty ATS (Air Temp Sensor). If bad fuel is the issue drain the tank completely and fuel lines, clean the fuel filter on the fuel pump. Refill with clean fuel and it should be OK. If the air temp is cold, check the ATS values with a multimeter. Another thing to check is for any airleaks around the throttle bodies, check all vacuum lines are secure and rubber plugs are in place.

Suzuki sv1000s , f1 light came on and the bike doesn't start

Sounds like you have a problem with the computer or the FI system on the bike. That is what the (F)uel (I)njection is on for.

Suzuki gsxr k6 600 fuel injectors problems The F1 light has come on when I started the bike up it alternates between the temp and F1 I have not started the bike in a while 1 month

The display is really FI as in Fuel Injection. The fuel injection computer has sensed a fault in the Injection system. You will need to ride the bike to a dealer and have them read the fault codes. It is probably just something minor. Major faults will not allow the bike to run. You will not hurt the bike if you ride it.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

1. CHECK THE MAIN FUSEAND FI INGN FUSE IF OK THEN GO TO 2.
2. MAKE SURE ENGINE STOP SWITCH IS NOT ON.
3.MAKE SURE THAT FI RELAY IS CLOSING. TURN ON KEY SWITCH AND THE FI LIGHT SHOULD COME ON. THEN CHECK TO SEE IF 12VOLTS IS AT RED/WHITE WIRE COMING FROM RELAY ( RELAY IS UNDER THE SEAT)
NOW IF THIS SO YOU SHOULD HAVE SPARK AT THE PLUGS. IF NOT SOMETHING IS SHORTING THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. MAKE SURE THE BIKE IS IN NEUTRAL
AND THE IGNITION PULSE GENERATOR IS GOOD
