CALLER ID I HAVE A MITEL SX-50 FOR 108 ROOM HOTEL. I NEED TO KNOW IF THE SX-50 HAS CALLER ID IF NOT CAN I GET FOR THE SX-50. ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE CALLING OUR GUESTS TRYING TO SELL DRUGS AND ****. SO THE POLICE NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE CALL IS COMING FROM. TO KEEP OUR GUESTS FROM BEING HARRASSED WE NEED TO SEE IF WE CAN GET CALLER I.D ON THE S-50 AND GET THESE CROOKS THANK YOU

For CLASS line functionality on the ONS/CLASS Line card, you must install a DSP module (single) on the BCC III in the same SX-200 ELx cabinet.

If they are digital phones then it could be a bad card

Must be done in the controller. 3300 is CPN substitution. 5000 is Calling party number. Telco must except the service. Not sure of what I said? Contact your dealer. This is not something you set up from your phone.

This might be due to fact of Trasnferring calls. I assume that you have at least 30 numbers to your hotel, meaning that you at least have 30 trunks. When you transfer a call, and if there is no answer at where it is transferred, it will ring on your side, but will not let you answer the call. It is a notification pretty much that there is a call in waiting.
To solve this, simply untransfer your cals for that trunk and it will be okay, I hoep that fixes it.
If you need help with untransferring, here:
1. Press Function Key
2. Enter ATT Function which is F2 on our own
3. Press Trunks which is F5 on ours
4.Enter 30 for (trunk 30)
5. Press ATT Access which is F3 for ours and wait for dial tone
6. Dial *730 and then hang up after the fast beep.
Depending on the system and distributor, ti might vary slightly.

Need to upgrade the Sx50 will not work. Or tell Comcast to take it off. Other carrier services can do it!!

Need a tech to come out there. Is it a comcast phone or a comcast phone line. Comcast line you need to connect it to a LS/GS trunk port. You my need some programming.

Lock means lockout. If you've changed out the entire set to the cords, look for something in the wiring to be shorting out. You'll get that indication if you walk into a guest room and take the phone off the hook. It will alarm at the console and lock out.
