My battery is fully charged can any body help me diagnose the problem
I recently put a autobox in my jeep an now it wont start, any ideas ppl??
I had the same problem drove me crazy I got pissed and started buying parts I changed the Starter and it was fixed go figure. It can be a lot of problems causing this, but if nothing else take the starter off and take it to advance, autozone or somewhere like this have it tested if it is the starter it cost me about 80 bucks and 30 minutes of my time. GOOD LUCK!!!
Hi!
Could this be an Immobiliser problem? or Gear Inhibitor switch?
If the vehicle is Automatic try running the selector back and forth into neutral and try again? no luck? try park.
Does your vehicle have a Immobiliser fob/key? if key type does the light stop blinking/go out when inserted? if a fob are the batteries o.k.? also has the fob been dropped or become damp? (It may need re-coding @ Chrysler Dealer).
Finally if all these check out then I would be looking for a possible fuse blow then onto to Starter or solenoid.
All bases covered there. Me thinks you are going to be busy? I'm sure you'll sort it.
Good Luck!

Try running the gear selector through all the gears then back into park. If the same thing happens then set your emergency brake, place the gear selector in neutral, while pressing on the brake pedal try to start it. If this works you may have to replace the switch that senses when it is in park. Good Luck

another thing i did not mention was it was like 7 below zero lastnight when this problem accured would that affect it from doing anything when i turn the key
I changed the transmission on a jeep Cherokee 1994 4drive. It worked fine. I parked it for the night. The next day, it did not work. The engine refused to start. It seems that the spark plugs were not activated. Any ideas what could be causing this?
