Cable snapped and I put in new cable but cant get the gear to ingage.
If, we're talking about your clutch cable, you need to regulate it, either by the bolts down to the gear box, or up at your left grip by the twisting distance screw.
The best way to do it right, is FIRST, spray down to your cable enough penetrating oil, that will help it slip easily. Locate the cable to the gear knee that comes out of the box, (there should be two bolts) and unscrew the one that's between the knee and the black protective of the cable, until the point that you pull your clutch grip, and you get a few mm, of "dead" motion and then gets tight. When you get that, tighten the bolts, and you're probable done. Remember, that the twisting distance screw at your grip, must be toghten, no space. Cause from there later you'll be adjusting the free space before pressing the clutch.
Quite easy. Should be done in no more that 5 min. Good luck
