Hi!
The usual place for Vin numbers is along the head stock. Chassis at the front of the Fuel Tank.
Where the handlebars are mounted this is called top yolk, which is mounted to the fork Triple tree,(Shaft that goes up the HEADSTOCK)
It is behind your headlamp area around where the fuel tank is.
Imagine! If you were to take the forks off the fuel tank off and then stand back and look at the frame it is the area from photo supplied where the nose cone is.
I do hope I've given you directions to the numbers as it is very difficult trying to describe without pointing it out in front of you not being there.
I'm sure you'll find it Ed!
Good luck,
Paul 'W'

I dont know the year of my motor i have no vin number

Hi, I am confused, your problem question banner shows the year as 2003 for your Kwaka. Vin number is normally for the frame/chassis. If you look around the engine you should see a stamped/etched alpha numeric code. If you call Kawasaki they should be able to tell you the details regarding this code.

Find chassis number

Hi, Sandip for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. If engine number is known can we check the chassis number

A part of the engine number should be the pair of the chassis; maybe entire number.
Why don't you use a brush to clean the paint on the frame to be visible? If you don't the guys from tehnical inspection will do it.

Location of all vin numbers on bike and engine. ?

The vin number commonly known as the frame or chassis number can be found on the front tube of the frame, headstock to the righthand siide at this point the steering yoke is affixed, if this is a uk bike the vin plate should be on the righthand of the frame also, close to your. Right knee when you sit on the bike, but the number on this plate is the same as the one found on the frame, the engine number is located also on the right hand side ontop of the crackcase just above the clutch cover, all of this information can be found on the log book, or registration doc if you have one hope this helps

You need to use a specialised engine paint. Your local auto mart or bike shop should stock it. Don't use anything else, get engine paint!

Require year of manufacture of two bikes... honda eng No C70E-11685 chassis No C70-C013741. Honda eng No C90E-3127157 chassis No C90-S127149 Appreciate any help...

Hello,

The chassis number(s) will not give the year of the bikes. The engine number(s) will give the year and location made of the engine only. This information would have to be obtained from the manufacturer.

The only way to determine the year of the bike(s) is to use the VIN number. The VIN number is 17 characters long and is usually located on the front of the frame.

This site, VIN Look-up, will give you all the information you need on your bikes.

Hope this helps and if you find this post useful, please vote. Thank You.

Regards,

Oz

The best way is to call the manufacturer's 800 number, give them your vin and they can tell you anything you need to know about your bike.
