My 1977 Kawasaki 250cc is misfiring

I'm not sure whether the problem is in the coil or whether it is something else.

After 2 days outdoor parking of my Kawasaki KLE Anhelo 250cc in cold and snow weather bike doesn't works normally. All works related done:cylinder inspected valve grinded, spark plugs replaced, carburett

Sounds as though you have a blocked airbox intake. Look where the air is drawn into the box for obstructions. It is also possible that you are running your carbs too rich and the extra air that is being drawn in without the cover being fitted is putting the fuel/air mix right.

I have a random misfire in my 77 gs 750. is it possible the timing is out & if so how do I adjust it?

If it's a random misfire, I recommend looking for a high voltage problem in the ignition circuit, like a cracked spark plug, or a dirty spark plug boot, or a loose wire on the coils. Start it up in the dark and look for sparks jumping around the plug wires and coils. Point gap will affect timing, check for worn or pitted points while you're in there. Maybe a condenser is going bad.

1977 kawasaki kz 650 no power or start.

It sounds like something may have shorted, come loose, or burned out.
Tracing where this is will take time and a multimeter to test all connections.

I have a 1996 crown vic i need to know these trouble codes po301 po304

PO300 Codes-- are cylinder misfires

PO301 thru PO308

Last # is the cylinder

Could be bad ignition coil for a cylinder
or a coil pack for that side, depending what
engine you have

#1 &#4 are at the front & back of the passenger
side of your motor or firewall side if transverse

You will need to provide details of who worked on it
& exactly what was done besides replace a coil based
on a code

Codes aren't very good with COP Ignition but a complete
coil pack on one side should take care of some issue

Vacuum Leaks & other items can cause misfires & the codes
don't tell you to replace ignition parts as you may have

What's your problem? my 2004 mercury monterey has eight codes ,po301,poo53,po106,po316,po300,po304,po305,and po306

PO 300 is multiple misfires detected
PO 301, 304, 305, 306 are misfires in cylinders 1,4,5,&6
PO 053 is HO2S Bank 1 Sensor 1 Heater Resistance
PO 106 is MAP/BARO CKT Range / Perf
PO 316 is Misfire detected 1st 1000 Revs.

On a misfire, I usually push towards the spark plugs, plug wires, and coil packs / distributor coil.
You have PO 106 and PO 053 that need to be inquired about at nearest AutoZone.
They can give you an idea as to what is the problem on these.

Did a MAP sensor **** out and cause all the misfires ?
Did a misfire cause the MAP sensor error?
You see what I'm saying ?...Something caused all the misfires...thinking MAP...but not that familiar with the function of the MAP.

Hope this helps...

Engine light - cylinder 2 and 3 misfiring mecanic recommends replacing plugs and coil packs Any idea on cost to replace?

Wrong diagnoses

You will only have (1) bad COP Ignition Coil, at the most

The Spark Plugs are not an issue at all ,unless they are in the
motor over 60,000 miles or more than 3 years,& not the cause
of the misfires.

You can replace a coil yourself in 15 min
They cost $59.00 tops at the auto parts store

On a V8
Wells 5C1179
Wells (duralast/autozone) C1234 Both the same coil
On a V6 you can look on Wells web site or a lot of
internet sites

If you have a V6 & most L/S probably are & you have
to do the right side of the motor, then the upper intake has
to come off ,to do coils or plugs

I own a 2004 LS & wouldn't let anyone touch it

Very few people are good with L/S Misfires or most Fords
Some shops avoid them

There are several ways to look for misfires
You have to have scan tool software & know how
to use $ Mode 6 & have & use an oscilloscope
All testing has to be done on a road test with the
test equipment on the coils
Doubtfull many repair shops even know what I'm
referring to.

You can solve any coil issue yourself ,if you buy one
coil only & put it in a cyl with a misfire code
PO 301 thru PO306 or 8

If you don't get the bad coil, replace the old one &
continue to walk the new one

There are some real serious issues you will someday
face & you will need my help, as a dealer can't figure out

You have to use logic,& get your head around how these
systems work & loose the ford product additude & things go
as they would on any vehicle brand.

Don't even go near a dealer, waste of time & huge amounts
of money
Do it my way
Get involved & install a coil & go from there

I have a go kart with a 1979 250cc kawasaki enduro motor in it, and there is something that got tooken off and its what make it so the battery keepts charged, just wondering if you know what that its and...

To keep a battery charged you require several things, source coils and magneto (on end of crankshaft) leads from which should go to a rectifier/regulator, ignition coil and the cdi unit or black box. Leads from the black box and magneto should trace back thru' a fuse to a battery if a battery is required. However, Enduro lighting and ignition systems were developed without batteries in mind mostly.
