I have an Aero 750 Shaft drive and I want to change the rear Rim

Rear shaft rim to fit a 200 size tire low profile. Is there a spoke honda rim that I can use to accomplish this. I know I need to respoke the rim so I can use my original shaft.

I test drove a 2008 Honda Shadow 750 Aero and it does not turn easy or smoothly. Owner said that it's typical for this bike.

At 30 MPH I have a wobble in my 2010 ultra classic

1. jack up the front and rear tire off of the ground one at a time and turn the tires while looking head on to the tire; the tire sidewall should be rotating parallel as the rim. If the sidwall is moving side to side, the belt is twisted in the tire and the tire needs to be replaced.

2. If it is a spoked rim do the same test as above but see if the rim runs straight and if it does not the rim needs to be trued by a shop.

3. If the rim is of the solid spoke type (approx 3-5 large spokes), test like #1 above. If it does not run true when rotated, the rim may be bent, the bearings bad, or the wheel could be lose.

Needing a manual on how to remove the rear tire On a 2004 Honda Shadow Aero VTC 750. The tire is flat and it is cheaper for me to remove it myself and take the tire in. I'd rather not haul the bike up...

Put the bike on the center stand or jack up the back end enough to get easy access. Unbolt and slide out the rear axle. If the axle hits the mufflers, take out the lower shock bolts and lower the wheel and swing arm enough to pull the axle and spacer out. Unbolt the brake panel stop arm. The wheel is now resting on a splined shaft. Grab the wheel and pull it/slide it sideways away from the final drive assembly. Now you should be able to drop it out the bottom or roll it out the back of the wheel well. If the tire is too wide to fit between the final drive spline and the swing arm, let the air out of the tire to squeeze it through the gap. Go to the local Honda dealer and purchase a tube of Moly60 Paste and coat the spline on the final drive with it before reassembly.

I cant get the rear tire off my 2004 honda vt 1100 c2. Seame like the swing arm is the reason, but the honda servce manual says it should slide to the right and come right off. I need help! :) Seams like...

Often to remove the rear wheel on a Honda , you have to let the air out of the tire and squeeze it out past the shaft drive spline. Some times the problem is made worse by previous owners that put on a tire bigger than the recommended size. With no air in the tire it should come out easily enough.

How to change rear tire on 2004 750 honda shadow aero? Do i need to pull the final Drive?

You do not have to remove the final drive , the wheel is resting on a spline shaft. Center stand the motorcycle or lift the rear wheel, remove the axle bolt, knock out the spacer, and slide the brake panel out of the way. Now the wheel is resting only on a splined shaft. Grab the wheel and gently slide it away from the final drive ( off the splined shaft ) and roll it out the back of the wheel well. When replacing the wheel be sure to get some MOLY60 paste from the Honda dealer and grease the spline before putting the wheel back on.
