I suspect your front lamp is burned out. Check and replace as necessaary with one of the same value.

SOURCE: my left turn signal on

Is it the front or rear? Check the other left turn signal..if one bulb is burned out, the other will stay on constant. If that's not the problem, it could be the turn signal relay, usually mounted on the fuse panel.

sounds like a poor ground issue, pull out the headlight and check all connections in there, your turn signals are on seperate feeds than the lights but they will probably share the same ground/earth in the headlight

I have a 1999 Honda Shadow ACE, when I turn on the ignition key the head lights don't come on, just the parking lights. When I tried the ignition switch nothing happens. The battery was replaced recently and I rode it the previous day. I checked all the fuses and they are fine.

How to change turn signal bulbs

http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1999-honda-shadow-aero-1100-vt1100c3-turn-signal/o/m151402sch8684

Assembly (#9) is the front turn signal.
Note underneath there is a screw (#14).
Remove screw, then remove lens.
Push bulb in slightly and turn about 1/4 turn to the left (counterclockwise), and pull out.

If bulb is a dual (two) element bulb, when replacing, it wil line up only one way.
If it won't fit, turn 180 degrees and try again.

Reassembly is reverse.

I HAVE A 1997 HONDA SHADOW 600 FRONT BLINKERS WORK FINE RIGHT REAR WORKS FINE BUT LEFT REAR WILL NOT BLINK LEFT FRONT DOSE BUT FAST I CHANGED BULB IN LEFT REAR DID NOT HELP IS IT A BAD FLASHER

If you have changed the blinkers over to LED lights , you need to put diodes on the wires to stop the fast flash. Honda turn signals Have to grounded to the green ground wires in the harness. You can not ground them to the frame or other wires or the flasher system will not work correctly. Double check that all the wires are connected to the harness correctly (They are color coded). Blue with white band is the same as blue with white stripe. Orange with white band is the same as orange with white stripe. If you have crossed the wires on the front turn signals you may be powering the rear turnsignal with the running light. The running light is the dimmer half of the bulb. The turn signal/flashing light is the brighter side of the bulb. Inspect your wiring carefully.

2007 Honda Shadow Aero blows dash, warning light, neutral light, tail light and license plate light fuse. Intermittent.

try changing the voltage regulator as its running out of controle the charger is over charging and you will boile the battery as well, its all down to the voltage regulator not doing its job right,,,easy fix? buy a new one but get the heavy duty reg and put some heat sink creem on the back of it so the heat can soke away into the frame fast that way they live longer

'86 Shadow right front turn signal doesn't work

you may want to trace your wires to that light and check to make sure that your ground wire for that side is clean and tight that may take care of your problem all together

Rear right turn signal acts as a running light. blinker works fine. fwd right and both left turn signals work as advertised.

Make sure and replace the lamp with the exact same one as the working side. Sounds like their is a mismatch in the lamps of some sort.
If one of the filliments is burnt out this will happen. Just like in car blinkers. Or it will blink fast. Hope this helps.. Happy Holidays. Jay
