it is not a diesel ,and this list is all 1.4L listed by maker,1.4L and in year range.

The GA14DE does not have hydraulic lifters, so special shims are used to adjust the valve clearance.

data super hard to source on the engine.
one photo shows head cams over valve stems, no tappets at all
see photo, I see bucket lifter there, so are shims.

The Nissan CR14DE motor does not have hydraulic lifters, so special valve lifters are used to adjust the valve clearance.

so knowing this engine fact and the exact one makes this more easy

as you know there are 3 kinds of lash.

1. none HLA , maybe.
2. bucket lifters and shims. soch or dohc, NO
3. valve stem to cam direct, race engines DOHC. NO
4. and tappet lifters.+ screw adj, called SOLIDs to mech/

yours is rockers and tappets called out.
roller rockers some. (is this a turbo version)
i think I see rocker adjusters there, CAT manuals not free to find

I think you are referring to the clearance of the valves. Intake and exhaust valves have different clearance. There is a procedure how to do it and the tools you need.

There is a specific procedure for setting valve clearance . I highly recommend getting a repair manual for the correct specs & procedure. The engine must be at TDC with the #1 cylinder on the compression stroke , that will allow you to adjust ONLY certain valves , then you have to turn the engine one turn to TDC again only now #1 will be on the exhaust stroke & the rest of the valves can be adjusted . it's important that you know the difference between the two !

59 to 77deg F or 15 to 25deg C (engine temps)
Intake: 0.0063 to 0.0094 inch (0.16 to 0.24mm)
Exhaust: 0.0123to 0.0153 inch (0.31to 0.39mm)
you must remove the bucket,tappet , to change lash.
MIKE IT (that means a micrometer)
then buy shims or new buckets to fit. (generic answer)
the book says buy correct tappet after measuring, yours.
and it's out of range, and doing the math first.

did you check the engine for bent valves? thats really an ISUZU engine I think? check the valve clearance, if any valves have way too much clearance, they are bent.

The valve clearance on a Honda F22 engine is: Intake - 0.26mm (0.010 in) +- 0.02mm (0.008 in) Exhaust - 0.30mm (0.012 in) +- 0.02mm (0.008in)
