You need to get a relay to suit L.E.D lights, and as far as I know, you will have to run L.E.D lights(indicators) on the front aswell as the rear.

SOURCE: turn signal

Check the earthing of the left hand side blinkers first both front and rear, since the right hand side is functioning we can rule out tht the flasher unit is ok.
Not bad too to check the bulbs of the left side blinkers if they are of the required voltage and watts both front and rear.
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: I have 1986 Yamaha Venture.

The front lights are running lights and turn signals....so you are probably seeing the running light lit, as it should be any time the key is on.
The power for the turn signals goes through the Hazard flasher switch, its set up so you can't try the turn signals and the hazard flashers at the same time. First inspect to see the harness is still firmly connected to the switch.
I would remove the hazard flasher switch and with harness still attached, key ON, the Hazard switch OFF, verify you have battery voltage at the Brown wire.....thats from the Signal fuse circuit. If its okay.....now check the brown/yellow wire for voltage...thats from the switch going to the flasher system...if no power....you have a problem in the switch. A great site for Venture repair is the venturers.org site.
Hope this has helped!

You can check earth wire is hooked up properly, also check that you haven't crimped your power wire so that it is creating an "open" circuit.

My Turn Led Signal Can Not Blink

The LED lamps are not plug-in replacements for incandescent ones because they place a much lower load on the flasher.

Hi, Aaron5847smi before diagnosing any turn signal/running light/parking light issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If you have replaced your OEM lights with LED lights you are going to need a load equalizer. If no turn signals work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity. I would say try and REPLACE the turn signal fuse/relay. It should be a square, black fuse/relay on your fuse panel. They run about $10.00.

LED Display gives you your display visual alerts, signal strength, and operation mode. Here is an attached link for the manual.....http://www.uniden.com/pdf/LRD6399SWSom.pdf
But to answer your question here is what the difference between the green light and the red light are:
1. X-Band Signal Indicator—A green LED lights and blinks to
indicate the presence of an X-band radar signal. The blink rate
increases as the radar source gets closer. A distinct audio alert is
also heard.
2. K-Band Indicator— An amber (orange) LED lights and blinks to
indicate the presence of a K-band radar. The blink rate increases as
the radar source gets closer. A distinct audio alert is also heard.
3. Ka-SuperWideband Signal Indicator— A yellow LED lights and
blinks to indicate the presence of a Ka-SuperWideband radar
signal. The blink rate increases as the radar source gets closer. A
distinct audio alert is also heard.
4. Laser Signal Indicator— A red LED under L lights and blinks to
indicate the presence of a laser signal. A distinct audio alert is also
heard.
5. SWS Signal Indicator— When an early warning hazard or
informational signal is detected, the yellow SWS LED begins to
blink and the amber K-band LED lights. A distinct audio alert is
also heard.
6. Power-On Indicator— A green LED under P lights to indicate
power is being supplied to the unit and the unit is turned on.
7. LED Signal Strength Meter—Four LEDs give an accurate visual
indication of the strength of radar or laser signals.
8. City Mode Indicator—A green LED under C lights to indicate
that you selected City Mode.
9. Auto Mute Indicator— A red LED under M lights to indicate that
you selected the Auto Mute feature.

Please make sure you give me a rating and I hope this helps,
