Question about 1983 Suzuki Rg 250 Gamma
Trying to repair a friends gsx250
it has been having a problem revving consistently and smoothly over 5000rpm. i have heard this is a problem this model can have. something to do with the carbies, vacum operated, ive heard this is a possible cause, a bypass valve im not sure what??
we pulled apart one carbie all seemed well inside, daifram looked good with no holes after putting back together the bike ran properly for about 20kilometers, before stalling and having the revving problems again..
any detailed information would be much appreciated...
Usually when surging like that happens there is a vacuum leak where the carbs are attached to the heads check the rubber rings that hold the carbs on to see if they are cracked if so then replace them and that should solve your problem
