Question about 2000 Honda VTR 1000 F Firestorm
Hi can u help i have a vtr1000 firestorm the other day when riding my regulater set on fire will i need a new alternator or how do i go about checking it
Common problem with Storms, you will need a new regulator and battery, the alternator can be checked by measuring the resistance across the 3 wires, 0.2 to 0.5 ohm but they rarely go wrong
Make sure the replacement reg has a heatsink, newer Honda versions do
