Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
5. Tip over sensor needs a reset.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
10. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
11. Check for engine trouble codes.

Yamaha Timberwolf. How can I find model number to order parts

If you can tell me your vin - or your year I can tell you what model you have. But - if you go onto any parts site - such as cheapcycle.com or partsmonster - you name it - you won't need your 'model' # - just your year. You'd click - Yamaha OEM Parts, then ATV then Year - 1992 - 1998 was the Timberwolf - a lot of parts from the 99 - 04 Bear Tracker will work (just about only changed the plastics and carb in 99 - 04) same engine/transmission/rear end, etc. the brakes also went from drum to disc - but you'd click on the year - and then look - the timberwolf will be right there the 1992 - 1998 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 - I can't remember if they offered a timberwolf 350. If you can tell me the vin or year - like I said - I'll reply with your exact model # - but you can buy and order most parts just by model name and year 95 Timberwolf.

Adjust clutch on 1998 timberwolf

On the right side of engine (just above the foot peg), you should see a nut threaded over a slotted bolt. You should see the words "increase" & "decrease" with arrows pointing in either direction. Loosen the nut around the bolt and turn the screw slightly maybe a 1/4 turn. (turn towards the increase direction to make the clutch engage sooner, turn towards the decrease direction to adjust the clutch to disengage sooner). Tighten the nut, and test your change. You will have to "play" with the adjustment until you get the clutch the way you want it.

1998 fzr 600 yamaha put it in gear let the clutch out nothing happens, pulled the clutch looks new.Do i have to pull the engine to pull the transmissiom out?

there should be an adjuster screw and lock nut on the clutch cover plate that will adjust the play in the clutch mechanism and cable. adjust that and play with the clutch until it engages and disengages correctly

I need the timing spec for a 1994 yamaha timberwolf 250

no dont worry about that # what type of machine is it? what your gonna need to do is find the mark on the fly wheel some have a single mark and some have two if you have the cover off put it on there should be 2 access holes take the covers (small and larger probally flat head allen key) turn the engine counter clockwise till you line the second mark you see in that little window if it has two there should be a mark to line it up with, that is top dead center now there will be marks on the cam sprocket thatneed to get lined up also thats where i need to know what kind of machine it is but somehave an arrow some have two lines that get lined up with the gasket surface. if you post it i can help you finish
