It is getting gas and fire put new plugs and wires the fire is weak but still will not start

By "fire," I assume you may mean SPARK. If the spark is weak, replace the coil pack.

I have a 2002 pt cruiser it is getting gas and fire but the fire is weak

Weak spark could be bad coil(s) or ignition module. Even a bad groud strap can cause this, but most common is module.

Weak fire on pocket bike

Hi, I do a lot with these bikes, I think if you are getting a weak spark there is a couple things to check. First, do you understand how it builds the power to create the spark? The magnet in the flywheel has to be very close to the magnito or coil, if the gap is too much it will cause a weak spark, if the magnet is weak, weak spark, if the coil is shorting internally, weak spark. If the plug wire is damaged, weak spark. I hope this helps you.

Just firing on one coil but replaced it and still not working

You may need to replace the plug wires after many miles they become more resistive and deliver weak or no spark to the plugs. It could also be the ignition module it is common for GM vehicles in that year range to have failing modules.

Trouble code P0302. Changed plugs. They were well used.49000 miles.Still runs rough. Fire on #2 looks weak. Maybe needs new coil?

1 ensure the plugs gap is set to the manufatures specifications.

if coil was weak you would see weak on all cylenders not just on 2

2 check timing and air fuel mix are correct.

i hope this was helpful

The spark gets power to spark from coil packs. If the connection between coil pack to spark plug is weak or loose then it will not fire. But if the coil pack as well as the connection between coil pack to spark plugs checked ok then its faulty or dirty spark plugs.Clean the spark plugs with the carb cleaner liquid and let it completely dry. Then check. Also check the voltage between coil pack to spark plugs. If both checked out ok then the other possibility can be weak crank shaft sensor. Thanks.Helpmech.

does each plug have its own seperate coil? if so, i would say the coil for the weak cylinder is faulty

No spark on one cylinder on a 2000 ford focus 2.0

The coil fires two plugs at one time, so if the other plug is fireing also the problem maybe a wire or plug. Or possible bad coil if fire is weak on one side. Common problem.

My honda 1100 seems to have weak red fire to plug

check the coil and the plug wire see if and there is crossion in the boot and if it doubt replace the coil wire first. Be sure your battery voltste is up and then if you have a problem test the primary side and secondary wire side of the coil. if there is to much resistance replace the coil. Also check the coil for loose wires at the coil and the wire feed for the coil on oppiste end.
