SOURCE: bike wont turn over

Use the voltmeter to check the battery while you are trying to start the bike. If it drops below 10v the battery is bad. If it stays at 12v or more look for a loose cable or poor ground.

SOURCE: yamaha mto3 sitting for 3 monts outside, battery

try cleaning the carb completely off the bike, make sure you take the jets out and clean them well.

They are probably gummed up....gas does not last long after 30 days anymore before it begins to varnish and clog parts.

SOURCE: Full battery charge, all fuses good...turn

Check the main fuse.It is a flat fuse (30a) and plugs into the top of the starter solenoid. There should be a spare fuse on the rubber solenoid mount. Remove the fuse out. Then wait for 5 minutes and then reinsert the fuse back. Its on the start relay near battery on red cable, two screws hold it in.The fuse box should be located under the seat by the battery. The fuse IS required in order to start it, because the current that runs to the starter button and then to the solenoid coil DOES run through the fuse. So if the fuse is dead, your starter will be dead. ------------So check the fuse if its bad, blown, shorted then replace the fuse. But if the fuse is fine then remove it for 5 minutes then reinsert it.---------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

SOURCE: Hyosung GV 650 wont start. Battery is fully charged and starter don't even click when trying to start?

Hi,
This will be either the starter solenoid is faulty or the starter motor needs replacing.Have the solenoid checked before removing the starter motor.

My battery indicator won't turn green when it is fully charged.what is this issue?

It is possible one of the battery cells has degraded enough the battery is not showing a full charge, or there is an issue with the green light, but this is minor provided everything is working.

My kawasaki zx12 wont turn on.i've check the batery cables and ignitoin.it happened when i installed a new battery

A couple of things that may sound trivial or silly, but check and make sure your kill switch is in the start position.
Check your fuses to make sure they are all still good.
Make sure that when you turn the key you get a neutral light, if not select neutral and try to start it again.
Check you battery is fully charged, a battery that is below charge won't start a bike like it will start a car.
Did you disconnect any other wires if so reconnect them.
Do you have fuel in the tank?

We left the keys on the bike over night and now the bike won't turn-on, we try charging the battery

First you need to find out if the battery has any life in it at all. Leaving the key turned on can discharge the battery to a state beyond repaire, try charging it on a low charge of the bike for a period of time, if the battery becomes hot you will have to replace it,check the main fuse has not blown, it is located at the starter solenoide under a plastic cover

1300 A5, 2005, new battery fitted. engine turns over but will not start plenty of fuel in tank fuses seem ok bike did run ok, according to last owner, apart from having flat battery, would not hold...

Double check that the battery is connected right including the smaller positive wire( can be burned off and the bike won't charge. With the battery fully charged and the chaging system unplugged ( plug has a battery wire ( red ) a black wire ( ground) and three either yellow wires either that or white all the same color and size. UNplug this plug. Remove a spark plug and put thew wire back on it and lay it on the head or other ground and see if it sparks as the bike is charked ( be careful as it might start on the other cyclinder) If it sparks add a small amount of fuel to the air inlet to see if it'll start with a little extra fuel if it starts and dies then your looking for a fuel problem. This bike has a fuel pump and in nuetral with the kickstand up you shoud hear it come on as the keys turned on. If not your back to checking fuses and even the kickstand sawitch. kill switch ON? Fuel in tank new enough.?
