Hay matey, best to use mums or the mrses plastic gravey jug,or if u have your own 4 measuring .. , in each fork leg u need 18.9 imp oz,,or 18.1 us oz of 10w fork oil or equivalent, after filling ,slowly pump fork up and down to distribute oil,, ,ok m8,, i had one of these babys,,so u no if its filled correctly, from the top of the inner fork tube, fully comprest with out the spring inserted,,, the gap from top of tube to the top of oil level , should measure 155mm,, hope that helps yuh

1987 VT 1100 shadow forks. How many ozs fluid


All Honda VT1100C models require 449cc (15.2 oz) of fork oil per fork leg. However, the VT1100C2 requires 482cc (16.3 oz.) of fork oil per leg. Honda recommends using SS-8 fork oil.

Yamaha XT 600 replace rubber boots on forks


you have to loosen the triple clamps and slide the forks completely off of the bike then loosen the clamps on the boots and slide them off
