On my bike it is said to be the rectifier, no fixing it just toss and get a new rectifier. its not converting/reducing AC voltage as it should, so higher than spec surplus elec current gets dumped back into the battery, cooking it, also first check your battery ground it may be the problem

Video caed G4MX440 model 8866 There is a jumper JP 5oo on top side of boaed what is it for

Searching various forum threads still availble for this 10 year old card finds that this is a backup/flash ROM of some sort. It seems like each position is a video BIOS version for the card, potentially allowing you to flash a different BIOS to the board. If your board appears dead, you move the jumper into the 2nd position, power up the PC, and move the jumper back to the first position while the PC is still running and then flash the BIOS with Nvidia's NVFlash utility.
Search Google for "MX440 8866 jumper" and the first thread seems very relavent.

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.

Autozone told me that my wiring for my 93 buick regal was messed up on my alternator I thought my starter was killng the battery so I had them test it but that's when they said its the wiring to your...

Does your battery have a large spark when you connect or disconnect it? A small spark may appear. A large spark would be a large drain.
There should be a wire from the starter or a junction block that goes to the plug on the alternator. It is a voltage sensing wire. It is also a fusible link. If the wire is not melted away (thats how they work as a fuse) it may be corroded inside the white (or black) plastic connector.
Remove the plug from the alternator and check the larger wire on it for 12 volts.
The other end of the wire will go to either the starter or a junction block on the firewall or near the battery.
Look for these
Don't just look at them, give a little tug to see if they pull out of the bu-tt connector

And you can go to Autozone.com and they have free wire diagrams in the repair section.madmikers_13.jpg

If you manage to get it started, check the alternator output...I'm betting it is bad. Should be making no less than 12.5 with accessories all on, 13.5 to 14 with just engine running. Bad alt can drain battery even when off depending what failed inside it. Towing with a chain is not really a good idea. the cross pin in those differentials are not very good and can fail.

check for power at the ignition switch on the yellow wire. Then check for power on the red and white wire at the ignition switch. Also make sure you have battery voltage at wires. If no power on yellow wire at ignition switch with switch on replace control module in front of radiator.
