Sorry to hear about your problem. The good news is it wont last long and you can most likely fix it with a can of WD40. When you washed the bike you got the wires wet and that can cause a short which will prevent the bike from igniting. Another thing you want to make sure did not happen is getting water in the air filter, if that happens you will **** water in through the carbs and that can be an issue. Water is heavier than gas and it will not **** through the lets in the carbs. You may need to drain the float bowls to insure there is no water in them. One drop in each bowl is enough to stop the bike from running.
Use the WD40 to spray in all the fuses that you took out. I think you just got everything wet. Water in the carbs may be the bigger issue.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Siren works, but no power to instrument after recharging battery. Nothing changed on the bike, was just sitting all winter.

There should be a small fuse box near the battery with probably three fuses inside. Have you checked those?

I have a 1997 honda cbr 600 and when in top gear pushing rpms over 7K for over 10 min that bike starts losing power, i was pointed in the direction of the electric fuel pump but where can i find the relay...

my bike had the same problem but it started at 8k and wouldnt make over 100...i took the carbs apart and found that the #1 main jet fell off into the bowl. if it was a fuel pump i think you would have a problem even in a lower rpm range.

Kawasaki kmx 125 2002 wont start

To me I want to know how old that gas is. If it smells like old paint or stale at all you need to rid the complete system. Then you need to take your carb. off and take it apart and clean it and all the jets, since you said there was sand in the gas tank.
