I just changed my gas tank, fuel pump and filter. I got in my jeep after this and pulled it ahead, was running fine , I left it idle and warm up for a bit then suddenly stalled. I got in it to start again and it fired up but stalls right away. After it stalls i hear the fuel pump re prime. I started it back up and tried reving it , the only way to keep it running is to stay above 4000rpm and feather slightly. Any suggestions im stumped. thx
Have you checked your fuel pressure? Could be the fuel pressure regulator. Hard to say without a year and model of the jeep.
I have not checked th fuel pressure and its a 92 cherokee laredo
Does it only seem to stall once it's warmed up? You mentioned that it ran fine for a little bit.

SOURCE: stalls or just wont start
i've had a bunch of hondas and usually when they dont start and then start after a while it is the main relay. as far as i know they dont make them aftermarket, you need to get them from the dealer. they cost about $85 last time i bought one. it is located on the interior, drivers side, to the left of the pedals. i think it has 7 pins and is mounted by one 10mm bolt. it seems they act up mostly on hot days. good luck!
SOURCE: wont keep idle, car stalls out
I had this same problem on my 2005 monte carlo, took mechanic a while to figure out it was the idle air control valve. They also replace the idle air control motor.

Check for vacuum leaks. Also try cleaning the ISV.
If that doesnt work go to vwvortex.com and post your issue there

Replace the distributor's magnetic pickup located inside the distributor surrounding the distributor shaft, the only other thing thankfully on this ignition system if memory serves me on the f 150 straight six 300 cu inch is the dura spark ignition control box, of course do the obvious tune up parts replacement dist.cap rotor, plug , sparkplugs before spending the $40.00 - $50.00 bucks on the dist.. pick up, you may have a weak a fuel pump check for adequate fuel pressure at carb 7 - 10 lbs.
