Have you checked your battery my battery went bad in my 2006 and it started doing that I didn't have any problems with my stator but the battery was so bad it wouldn't keep the bike running on the stator alone

Sounds l
ike a carb problem

remove air filter take starting fluid and spray in carb as you try to start it

keep spraying to keep it going

If it runs as long as you spray into carb

you will need to have the carb worked on

Backfiring and trouble starting

If you change the exhaust pipes, you have to sync the carbs (if you cant sync them, you have to change the carb jets), usually it is backfiring because the carbs are not in balance.

Starts ticks over but won't rev

I had similar problem. I wound up taking the carb to a bike shop and letting them clean it. They had an ultrasound bath that they put it in. It's submerged in a solvent, then they shoot sound waves at it to loosen up stuff that a regular cleaning can't get to. After I did that, it ran like a top....For 3 1/2 years...Then I had to do it again.

Running on three cylinders, fueling up plug!

if three cylenders are running fine and 1 not with a wet plug, something is wrong with the one cable , its connection, shorting(make sure its not to close to the engine) or the plug

Engine cuts out as you accelerrate when in nuetral.

You might have a coil problem or you might need a sparkplug cupor you need to synchronize your carbs.get your valves check also.
