SOURCE: There is a long clear line hanging off the bottom

if its coming from the nipple on the bottom of the carburetor bowl its nothing to worry about. Its for draining the fuel out of the bowl. Its a good idea to turn the fuel line valve to the off position and drain the bowl before long periods of storage. If the line is coming from a manifold or throttle body then it is a vacume line.

Removing the carburator on a suzuki drz, 125.

It is quiet easy, you remove the seat then the fuel tank this will expose the carburetor then its simply a matter of disconecting fuel line and unscrewing attachement screws. why do you need to do this? I would be very careful doing this as any dirt or dust or grime getting in can have huge impact
