S my farmall 100 only run with the choke out?

sounds like the carb is gummed up or a jet or something in the carb has a slight blockage might need to check the carb over and either clean the carb yourself or have someplace else rebuild it or clean it

Neos starts if I squirt petrol straight into the carb, runs for about 5 seconds, reves up a bit, and then dies. Has full take of petrol and oil, spark ok, had new carb fitted - was running been left...

you need to confirm pilot jet is clean and clear of fuel gum first step up. in the the pilot jet can it can block with in a week or two so few months is more than possible
the high rev is just what happens when motor out of fuel (so it has used all you pored into the plug hole)
remove carb - remove pilot jet - blow compressed air through the hole pilot jet goes into and replace with cleaned or a new pilot jet
also confirm it is brand new fuel in the tank don't even try to run the old fuel throw every drop away and re fill if you haven't already

Yamaha Neos 50cc water in carb

water from an air filter will not get into the carby bowl to block the jets
water in a carby comes from the fuel tank
if you are using e-mix fuel change to straight petrol as the ethanol in the fuel attracts water out of the atmosphere or the pump where you get the fuel has a water problem in the storage tank
next add methylated spirits ( around 20mm to a gallon) to the fuel tank to break down any water so that t it can go through the carby and be burnt in the combustion process best fix is to remove the tank and have it properly cleaned out, clean the fuel filter , have the carby properly overhauled and get the fuel from a different servo

I have a yamaha neos 50cc i havent used it for a year and I have just cleaned the main jet there was a little dirt in it.I cannot get it to start. Can you give me any tips on how to get it started.Bike only...

If you haven't used it for a year, I'd drain the gas and replace with fresh. Also since you found some dirt in the jet, I'd throughly clean the entire fuel delivery system, from the tank to the carb,,inline filter replace etc. Take the carb apart and soak in carb cleaner, then blow out, blow jets as well, and it wouldn't hurt to replace the needle valve seat. Next, make sure you are getting good spark. If you have the proper fuel/air mix and spark properly timed, your engine should start right up! Good Luck, Hope this helps!

At about how many kilometers or each time period for the Bajaj Boxer or CT 100 Carburetor should be clean?

if it's a 2 stroke then you need to clean the exhaust as it gets blocked and affect perfomance. As for the carb, it all depends on your fuel tank if it has residue in it.The best solution is to use a filter running down the rubber pipe, between the tap and the carb and next thing is to clean air filter as well as the carb. The carb does not regularly require cleaning though as you may wrongly think.

I have a yamaha neo 100. When setting off its sluggish then all of a sudden it shoots off. is it the spark plugs?

You will need to take it to the shop, as a series of problems might be causing the simptoms. I tend to believe the carburator needs cleaning and regulation.
