Do not damage your motorcycle. The key code is on every lock on the bike. Your helmet lock has the code. The back side of your ignition switch has the code . The number is also on your fuel cap, but you have to take it off to read it. The code is six digits long Example: 345A56 A56 is the key code or 999123 123 is the key code. You can take this code to the dealer or to a locksmith and have them cut a key.
10w-40SJ Honda Motorcycle oil only. Would appreciate a rating thanks! Change your oil more frequently if you ride the bike hard or especially if you ride the track like i do...i change my oil before and after a race!! and i"ve put 30k "extremely" hard miles on this engine and still performs well for a bike with 50k on the odometer! my bike is the very first 87 CBRF1 Hurricane.. i also have an 88 with only 16k on the odometer! Hondas are bullet proof, but the oil is the Key because everytime you miss-shift and grind a gear the same gear oil is used to lube the top half of the engine.
im not sure if this model has a fuel pump but follow your fuel line and see if it does wen u find it remove black plastic cap and check the points contact breakers are in good conditon ie not worn uneven or worn out and that they open and close.check your air filter spark plugs and your carbs could have a blocked jet so get them cleaned and balanced.
wow, 7 years without use! try to check if the fuel pump motor is still working... also check the fuel lines if its clogged.. I hope you get your bike up and running again... feel that adrenaline rush when going 100+mph.. hehehe.. have a good one bro...
