SOURCE: torque specs needed

on a 1999 Honda Accord, the torque for the front axle nut is 181 ft lbs. For the most part, sung it up and then go a bit further. If you are reusing the old axle nut, tighten it until the stake mark on the nut lines up with the notch in the axle (make sure to re-stake it). check out alldata.com/diy for individual vehicle subscriptions which have all the repair info you will ever need. If you had the steering knuckle out, tighten the balljoint nuts on the upper and lower control arms until they are tight and then tighten until the hole lines up to recieve the cotter pin.

How do I remove the rear wheel out of a 2002 sabre?

Center stand the bike, loosen the rear axle nut, take out the axle bolt, knock out the spacer , unbolt the rear brake caliper and hang it so you do not stress the brake hose , grab the wheel, and slide it sideways away from the final drive. The wheel should slide right off the spline of the final drive and roll out the back under the fender. If the wheel won't slide past the final drive let the air out of the tire. Be sure to coat the spline of the final drive with moly60 paste from your local Honda dealer when reassembling.

Rear traction on 2004 honda 1100 vt sabre

Hi ...... Def'ly sounds like a traction problem. Elevate the rear wheel off the ground using a centre-stand or axle stands. Grip the wheel at 12 o'clock & 6 o'clock then 9 o'clock & 3 o'clock, wiggle & pull (gently) in both positions, if you feel any movement it points towards wheel bearings. Check to see if there are any oil leaks, oil breather hose or battery breather hose which exit over the rear wheel. Is the shock leaking onto the wheel ? Is it a drum or disc brake ?
