SOURCE: how do i change the indicator on a sachs madass??

I also had a madass50 and the indicator broke off (spring loaded sidestand is a curse sometimes). If its just the bulb your changing then look for a single small screw at rear tip of indicator, this allows the lens to be removed for access to bulb. If however you need to remove the whole indicator then try to disconnect the indicator wires behind headlamps as they will need to twist and then hold indicator firmly by stem and unscrew whole thing anticlockwise. It will usually be tight from the threadlock. The nut it screws into is tight fit in handlebars and should stay in place, if it doesnt a small bit of superglue makes reassembly a lot easier

SOURCE: mt-03 km/h not mph

Place the key in the ignition switched off. Press and HOLD both the select and reset buttons before turning the key to the on position. Now let go of both buttons and the on screen digits should start flashing. Now press select to toggle between kilometres and miles per hour.

Can i get an owners manual for my 2006 Sachs Madass ?

Hi, Calvin the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download for viewing or printing. To download your manual please click on the blue links below. Good luck and have a wonderful day

My 2007 Sachs City 125cc idles ok but misses when throttling up. Any ideas? Also anyone know where to buy a repair manual for this FYM FY-125-13 scooter

Hi, Paul and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery, should have 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
2. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
3. Spark plugs in bad condition or partially fouled.
4. Spark plug cables in bad condition and leaking check for spark leakage in the dark
5. Spark plug gap too close or too wide.
6. Faulty ignition coil, module, and or sensor.
7. Loose, dirty, or corroded ignition module connector at crankcase.
8. Faulty CKP or CMP, MAP, ETS, ATS, TPS, O2 sensor.
9. Dirty air filter.
10. Intake air leak.
11. Water, dirt, or rust in the fuel system.
12. Carburetor damaged, contaminated, sticky float, plugged jets.
13. Multiple carburetors out of sync.
14. Fuel filter clogged.
15. Old or contaminated fuel.
16. Fuel tank vent system plugged or carb vent line closed off.
17. Gas cap diaphragm valve faulty.
18. Vacuum line from intake manifold to fuel valve is broken, cracked, pinched, or missing.
19. Carburetor controls misadjusted.
20. Incorrect valve timing.
21. Valve springs floating, weak, or broken.
22. Damaged intake or exhaust valve.
23. Incompatible performance parts.
24. Control module may be in "LIMP" mode
25. Check for engine trouble codes.

Madass 125 starter not working

Hi, Anonymous before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. Faulty ignition relay.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.

It wont speed up in mazimum speed. Only 30 km/t. Used to go 50-60 km/t without any problem.

make sure battery has a 12.6 volt charge-any lower causes bad power--are connections clean and tite--test chargin circuit-----also fuel delivery may be hindered by dirty carb or hoses
