check for loose globe fittings and bad earth connections . Blowing the same light is indicative of a loose globe in the housing and shorting causing power surges which burn out the filament in the globe.

Headlamps wiring

In the headlight there is the main globe (bulb/lamp) which generally has three(3) wires to it. This is HI beam and LO beam along with "common" (earth.....green).
The small globe is the "running" light and the Brown and Green connect to this. This light comes on when the ignition (or lights) is switched on, off the rear tail light circuit. In the headlight "Nancelle" (the big chrome housing the headlight fits in to) there will be A: a GREEN connector and B: a BROWN connector. The green is earth and the brown is the lighting circuit for all running lights, just reconnect.

Toyota yaris 2006 model, tail lights not working, globes and fuses ok, cant trace the problem

When you say taillights do you mean running lights or do stop and turn signal lights also malfunction? If running lights only then most taillight circuits run through the headlight switch which is probably bad.

Brake lights work but tail lights won't work with front lights which are needed at night on 2000 Chevy Malibu! When inspected, everything was fine until inspector changed my left tail light. Now tail...

The Tail lights and Instrument lights are usually on the same circuit so both will go out if the fuse for the circuit blows. Check for a blown fuse for this circuit and replace if out. If fuse continues to fail, check the tail light or side globes for a faulty globe and replace if necessary. Also check for any chafed wires that could be shorting to the body causing the fuse to blow.

Lo beam headlight replacement passenger side

open the bonnet, locate a screw on top of the headlight and undo it, locate two screws between the centre grill and headlight and undo them and locate a screw right behind the headlight assembly and loosen it. Now the whole headlight should come out. It wont come all the way out. By unplugging the electrical plug you can take it out completely. Lift up the lock thats hold the rear headlight cover and that will expose the internals of the headlight and then you can change whatever globe you want. First disconnect the wiring plug from the globe and then release the clip holding the globe and replace the globe and make you sure you dont touch the glass part of the new globe which installing. Touching it will shorten the globes life and there is a chance that it might explode inside and create mess. You need to buy H7 type globe for low beam.

How to change left turn signal bulb

Rear. 2 retainers PLUS a very tight ball socket holding the light assembly into place. Be ready to catch the tail light when you pop it of the ball socket.
Front. Use the headlight removal tool in the tool kit. Open front bonnet and push down and remove tear shape trim on headlight side in question. Place headlight tool onto spline and with one hand ready to "catch" the headlight, turn the tool until headlight pushes forward. Then remove headlight by hand and replace globe as required. Be careful of bayonet fitting. Can be fragile.

How do I change the rear brakelight?

I'm guessing that in your market the brake lights are actually in the body (as opposed to in the bumper bar where they are in Australia). If this is the case, then open the back tail gate and you will see 2 screws or bolts that are normally covered by the closed tail gate. Remove these 2 bolts and then grab the outer vertical edge of the lamp assembly and pull rearwards. Getting your fingers partially under the edge will help, but it will be hard on your finger tips. I could recommend using a screwdriver, but you would run the risk of scratching the paintwork. Once the lamp is out, twist the relevant globe holder 45 degrees and then change the globe. Of course, if your brake light is in the bumper bar, you will only need a phillips-syle screwdriver.
