Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: ENGINE OIL CAPACITY

On the oil filler port is a number with CC after it. This is the crankcase capacity in cc. There are 946cc in one US quart. Do not neglect to fill the filter with oil (but do not overfill) before installing it, and do not consider that amount when filling the crankcase.

Hope this helps,
matt

SOURCE: oil capacity????

aprox 1.1 litres, but depends if filter is changed, and all the oil is drained.
You need to run the bike for a minute before dipping the oil

SOURCE: oil capacity?

Should be 3.5 Liters / quarts with the filter change. Put in 3 liters then top up as needed to get the level to the top of the viewing window.

To check your oil, bike should be level, on it's center stand, engine should NOT be running!

Any oil viscosity between 10w30 and 20w50 will work just fine. Smaller numbers if the weather's cooler and/or you only do short rides. Bigger numbers for hot weather and longer rides.

SOURCE: whats the difference between a 2003 yamaha TTR125

there may be no difference. the thing with part numbers is that if they change anything at all the part number must change. so if they had a problem with a bearing then they my replace the bearing and that changes that part number but if they are visually the same and the Bendix's are the same and extend the same then you would be safe to use it

How do you change the oil on a 2009 Yamaha TTR 125?

hi,
There is not much oil capacity in a ttr125, maybe one quart. Most people will change it every weekend depending on how much running time. You may want to but an hour meter. On ebay they do not cost much. With such a small amount of oil and you probably run the heck out it, I would use a synthetic motorcyle oil with a JASO MA rating (Look at Motul oils). The interval of change can be extended. With Petroleum maybe every 5 hour, with synthetic maybe every 10 of running time. Oil is cheap you cannot change it too much. Also there is no filter to change, there is a screen insidethe motor that filters out the junk so changing it regulary is important.
Hope this helps
