P lights and fogs are fused separately to h lights. Go to the fuse box. Next the high low relays, then the column switch, but have a test lamp ready to test for a supply at the actual headlamp because if there is power to the lamp but no light, check the ground wires from the headlight unit are tight and on clean bare metal
check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car
No. Dash lights being out could be a bad headlight switch, since the dash lights are routed through the headlight switch, not the dimmer switch. Park and tail lights also controlled by the headlight switch.
There are two 15amp fuses marked 4 and 8 that provide power to the light control module. If those fuses are good, and those circuits have power, the problem may be with the control module. The module provides power to the dash lights. You may need a shop to trace the circuits and find the problem.
